Courtyard by Marriott Miami Beach South Beach

I only came here to say that my stay was pleasant thanks to the costumer service of Maria and Tobias at the restaurant downstairs. They are both great at their jobs and make you feel comfortable and relax. Both are bilingual which makes them a great asset for the hotel. For them I am thankful and the hotel being pet friendly! For that reason I give four starts instead of three. Gracias! (Renovations also were going on and that made the stay some irritating)

In 2025 i went to this hotel and i liked it, the staff were friendly and helpful, also the room was clean and comfortable, the only thing that i didn't like was that they forgot to give us towels and we needed to go to the reception for towels, but i would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a small jem in Miami! The rooms are amazing and the hotel was very clean and free of any odor. The customer service was great! The beach access was so relaxing and fun!

Do not let the negative reviews fool you...this is a great hotel in the best location possible within South Beach! My room was updated, clean, and very quiet. The front desk staff and the bar/food staff (especially Sebastian) were all very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay here again for any future travels to the SoBe area. Stayed over night during work because it was minutes away from Miami Beach convention center as opposed to the drive back to Hollywood. The rooms were clean and well though out. Beds and pillows were comfortable, which is incredibly important. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to friends.

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott South Beach was truly excellent, and I want to take a moment to share it because I believe it deserves recognition. The location is perfect — right in the heart of South Beach, close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and nightlife, yet still quiet and safe once you’re inside the hotel. The property is well kept, very clean, with comfortable, quiet rooms. Check-in was quick and easy. What impressed me the most, though, was the staff — and especially Daniel Flores. From the moment we checked in, Daniel was amazing: incredibly kind, professional, and charismatic. He makes you feel welcome right away and genuinely goes out of his way to make your stay better. We also saw him in the mornings at the Bistro, always attentive, making sure guests were comfortable and happy. In our case, we had an issue with towels not being delivered to our room even after we had asked a couple of times. Daniel overheard, stepped in immediately, and personally arranged for housekeeping to bring them to us. Thanks to him, my mom and I felt truly taken care of and reassured that any problem would be solved. The food at the Bistro was also excellent. We tried the sandwiches and they were fresh, delicious, and very satisfying — a great option without even having to leave the hotel. The only small detail I would mention is the Destination Fee, which can be a little confusing at first in terms of what it covers. But honestly, everything else — the location, cleanliness, service, and above all the attention from the staff — far outweighs that. In short, I absolutely recommend this hotel. It’s comfortable, well located, and has a great atmosphere. But what really makes it special is the people. And here I want to sincerely thank Daniel Flores, because with his kindness at both the Front Desk and the Bistro, he made our stay unforgettable. Marriott should be very proud to have him on their team

The best part about this hotel is its location and price. Right on Washington Avenue, it is in the center of it all. Lincoln road to the north, Espanola Way to the south, and a short <10 minute walk to the beach via 14th Pl alley. When booking during the busy holiday season, the rate was around $200 a night plus a $29 resort fee. With the notion that a car is unnecessary in the extremely walkable district, the rate is amazing, especially when comparing it to the other hotels in the area. You can take the 150 bus from MIA that will drop you off a block away from the hotel. When we checked in, we were greeted by an extremely professional and informative person, I think his name is Lorenzo. Throughout the stay, other staff members would greet us when leaving and entering the hotel, which was a kind surprise. Many people worry when they hear about the $29 resort fee. At our stay, the resort fee includes bikes you can take for two hour rides that are truly magical. The fee also includes a $29 credit at their restaurant, which we used for high-quality breakfast. This hotel technically has included breakfast that is better than any buffet breakfast. I had the Cuban breakfast sandwich all three days of my stay and it was delicious. Finally, the fee includes towels and two beach chairs at Lincoln road. We didn’t use either of these amenities but it’s nice having them at your disposal. The pool also deserves praise. It is a rooftop pool that you can catch views of the surrounding architecture and sunsets. Looking at the only major drawback of the hotel, the elevators were a bit slow and faulty. Sometimes it would arrive at a floor and the doors would not open unless you press the button again. Also, the elevator to the left does not go up to the pool so you need a bit of patience when going to the pool. Next, the rooms are modern and provide basic features. One afternoon, the shower water would not warm up, although that was only a one-time occurrence. I enjoyed my stay here and would give it a 4.5/5 if I could.
